In 2012, Alicia cofounded Amplify Labs (dba LocalData), a profitable software and services firm centered on improving data-driven decisions in cities. As CEO, she led product and business development. Amplify's marquee product, LocalData, is a cloud-hosted geospatial data platform, used in over 40 municipalities and local governments to map, report on, and augment place-based data on issues including vacant property assessment, economic development, historic preservation and asset mapping.

LocalData was selected in 2014 as a Matter.vc Accelerator Company, and prototyped in 2012 via Code for America in the City of Detroit, MI. Alicia and her team won the 2012 Knight News Challenge for innovation in data, and numerous other awards for their contribution to interactive tools in the urban planning sector associated with Amplify and LocalData.
